Cory Craig, Inventor of
the Quick Change Mouthpiece Bit.
I am a third generation horse trainer and have seen and used three
generations of tack. I currently specialize in training reining horses.
For me, there has always been something lacking in bit designs and there
have been no significant changes for decades. As a consumer myself, I
wanted more. When coming up with the Quick Change Bit design, I wanted
the mouthpiece to be interchangeable with shanks, thus reducing cost.
Previous attempts at making interchangeable mouthpiece bits were not
ideal. They were not functional and had pieces that could be lost. Some
also required tools to interchange them. I believe the Quick Change Bit
to be the best design to date for several reasons:
1. There are no pieces to lose.
2. No tools are required for assembly.
3. It is very user friendly and functional.
4. No change of headstall or reins is required when changing out the
bit.
5. There is an option of shank and purchase length.
6. Less tack to keep clean.
