NBHA Events for IL 02 Congratulations to all the winners at the State Show! IL02 had 3 saddle winners - Tiarra Paschall and Tyson Seggebruch in Youth and Elmer Holmes in Open. Tyson should be an inspiration to all riders – he got off to a bad start with his first run, the flash from the camera spooked his horse with the horse going one way and Tyson another but he shook it off, left it behind him, and concentrated on the run he was about to make. From a DQ to a Division Champion/Saddle Winner – way to go Tyson! Our show at Rawlings co-sponsored with IL04 turned out to be a good money maker for the district. We had several sponsors, Chuck Reynolds, Johnsons, B Havener, and Coventrys but the bulk of the added money was from the treasury of both IL02 and IL04. Thanks to all 02 members who pitched in and helped at both of these shows – we all know it takes many people working together to make the shows a success. As mentioned earlier we will be having an Awards Banquet along with the IBRA. The banquet will be January 23rd. Receiving awards will be: Open 1D Open 2D Open 3D Open 4D Angie Johnson Dave Jostes

All of the above Open and Seniors are also World Qualifiers and will receive an invitation to attend the World Championship Show in Augusta, GA next October 25-30. If you have never been it is well worth the trip! Don’t let the hassle of hauling back and forth from the barn to the arena keep you at home.
